Meet Dr. Levi

Kendra Levi (she/ her) is a specialist in hands-on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She is fellowship-trained and board certified in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM). She has sought additional experience with Cranial Osteopathy, Visceral Osteopathy, and Osteopathy in the Biodynamic Field. Her practice is informed by preventive principles of care drawn from her residency training and board certification in Family Medicine at Brown as well as her additional training in Integrative Medicine in Residency at the University of Arizona. She has experience in ambulatory as well as emergency and hospital settings across specialties. Outside of her private practice, she also works with residents as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Brown.

It is important to Dr. Levi to maintain a safe and welcoming environment at her practice. Her goal is to assist others to be empowered by their bodies so they may participate more fully in their lives and within their communities. She believes in shared decision-making and patient autonomy.

Dr. Levi has a regular mindfulness and reflective practice. She values thoughtfulness, presence and patience, knowledge and resourcefulness, and creativity when it comes to addressing Health concerns. She has special training in trauma-informed care, and has a special interest in the interface of physical manifestations of emotional trauma.

Dr. Levi’s personal path to medicine involved many seasons working on organic farms after completing her Biology undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College. She sought to better understand animal husbandry which led her to work as a veterinarian’s assistant for several years. She realized working in human healthcare could support better stewards of land and animals thus leading to a domino effect of better global health. She then worked as a medical assistant and phlebotomist prior to entering the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
